About this statute

Chapter 10: Secret coercive measures. The investigation authority may be granted permission to use telephone interception against a phone address or terminal used by a suspect, if the suspect is reasonably suspected of certain terrorism-related offences. The investigating authority may be allowed to conduct telemonitoring of a teleaddress or terminal equipment used by a suspect, if the suspect is reasonably suspected of one of the listed serious offences. Polisen may use covert information gathering when it is reasonably expected to help investigate certain listed serious offences. Technical surveillance is allowed only when the target is reasonably suspected of certain serious offences.
