Statute overview

About this statute

Chapter heading: “Dikning” (ditching/drainage). The meeting and final meeting in a ditching proceeding must be publicly announced at least 14 days in advance, with extra notice steps in some cases. En tillståndsansökan ska innehålla viss projektinformation och, i vissa fall, kompletterande miljöutredningar. The permit authority must notify about an application by public notice, keep it displayed for 30 days (up to 45 days in some cases), and sometimes publish it on websites and in newspapers. The decision must state the purpose of the application or attach needed parts of it, include the required project provisions and other implementation rules, answer specific remarks, and for certain EIA projects include the contact authority’s reasoned conclusion and hearing summary.
