About this statute
Chapter 13: Compensations. The district court handles certain compensation cases, including personal injury compensation claims, unless specific exceptions send the matter to another authority or procedure. A person seeking review must request reconsideration in writing within 30 days. Certain tax decision appeals may be taken by appeal, with leave required for further appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court. The Vasa Administrative Court must publish certain appeals for at least 14 days, keep the appeal documents available in the municipalities concerned, and give specified parties a chance to respond unless that is clearly unnecessary. An appeal against certain decisions of the Vaasa Administrative Court may be brought only if the Supreme Administrative Court grants leave to appeal.
