Statute overview

About this statute

The compensation amount is EUR 64,700 per completed specialist physician training in occupational health. Työterveyslaitos may pay grants/compensation to named universities for specialist training costs, and universities must immediately report if information in the required statements changes. Työterveyslaitos may use 1,120,000 euros of the grant for specified specialist training costs, but not for costs already covered by another state subsidy. Työterveyslaitos may, on application, pay reimbursement to private healthcare providers and employer-run health stations, subject to stated euro caps. Certain private health service providers and employer-run health centres must apply in writing for the compensation from Työterveyslaitos within three months after each half-year period ends.
