Statute overview

About this statute

An employee below the minimum old-age pension age is entitled to suitable vocational rehabilitation to prevent incapacity or improve work and earning capacity, if no right to rehabilitation exists under accident, traffic, or patient insurance rules. Certain pension benefits are reduced by specified primary benefits, including compensation for loss of income from an injury under the Patient Insurance Act. Pension deductions are adjusted when a new primary benefit is granted or when the amount of a primary benefit or pension changes for reasons other than index adjustment or a one-time increase.
