Statute overview

About this statute

This section says the law covers matching personal data in personal registers to check whether the person concerned is trustworthy and reliable, and the measures taken because of that matching. Transport- och kommunikationsverket may conduct an investigation into the level of information security in information systems and data communications as part of a company security investigation. Transport- och kommunikationsverket may issue a certificate for a company security investigation if the investigation only covered the security of information systems and data communications. A security-clearance register must be maintained, and certain authorities must record specified clearance-related information; some records may be entered by Transport and Communications Agency. Information in the security investigations register must be deleted no later than three years after certain triggering events.
