A catering establishment must arrange its premises and service practices to prevent customers from being exposed to an infectious disease, avoid unnecessary crowding, and keep sufficient distances between customers and groups. In the listed regions, each indoor customer must also have an individual seat at a table or similar flat surface. Certain restaurants in specified Finnish regions must cap customer numbers, stop serving alcohol by 17:00, and only keep customer service open between 05:00 and 18:00.
