Statute overview
About this statute
A depositor may cancel deposits within six months after receiving the notice if the total deposits exceed the deposit-guarantee limit and the deposits are partly outside the guarantee. Likvidatorerna must send the final accounts to Finansinspektionen and the Financial Stability Authority for information if liquidation has been decided. A sparbank can be put into bankruptcy or liquidation by specified bodies, and the Financial Stability Authority must act in certain resolution-related situations.
