Statute overview

About this statute

This section defines which entities are treated as supervised objects under the Act, including certain insurance, pension, and holding entities. This provision defines what counts as “stadgar” (statutes/rules) for purposes of the law. Finansinspektionen may obtain equivalent information from a supervised entity, even despite confidentiality rules, when needed for its statutory supervisory task. The chapter’s rules also extend to certain other Finnish group companies and related pension/employer entities.
