About this statute
The provision says that the State Pension Fund exists to secure payment of certain future pension benefits and is outside the state budget. The State Pension Fund has a board responsible for the fund, and the Ministry of Finance appoints it for three-year terms. Statens pensionsfond has an executive director in an employment relationship, with a five-year term, and may also have other employees in employment relationships. Statens pensionsfonds inkomster består av certain pension contributions, return on its assets, and other fees specified elsewhere; the employment fund must pay a fee to the state pension fund, and Keva decides how an employee pension contribution is recorded. Statens pensionsfond ska årligen föra över medel till statsbudgeten, och överföringen kan höjas med 3 procentenheter om fondens medel överstiger 25 procent under två finansår i rad.
