Statute overview

About this statute

The work order applies to Customs’ organisation, units, tasks, and how they are organised; in certain areas, regulations set by the Director-General also apply. This section lists Tullen’s divisions and other units, and names certain customs offices outside the border. Tullen is led by the Director-General, its units are led by unit heads, and the Director-General appoints deputy unit heads. The Director-General establishes Customs’ strategy and implementation plan and sets leadership goals for Customs department heads. The customs units must carry out listed internal tasks, cooperate to keep decisions and procedures uniform, and certain units handle reconsideration requests and fine-related decisions.
