Statute overview

About this statute

This section says the regulation covers the police authorities’ charged services and charged assistance. Certain listed public-law services are free of charge, and no fee is charged for emergency passports issued in Finland. Passports for certain front veterans and mine-clearance participants are charged a reduced fee, except fast, express, and temporary passports. A person liable to pay fees under this regulation must also pay publication costs when notice is required to carry out the service obligation. The district court also charges a 110 euro fee for certain service of a summons in disputed or application matters done on its behalf. Fixed-fee public-law services and their fees are listed in the annexed fee table. For refusal decisions, the fee is the same as for positive decisions unless the fee table specifically sets a lower refusal fee.
