Statute overview

About this statute

A person who is not resident in Finland may be entitled to child increment and family pension if they live in a state where the social security regulation applies. When calculating residence time under the social security regulation, insurance periods in another state may be counted if the person has lived in Finland for at least one year. If a beneficiary moves abroad to live there, payment of the benefit is stopped from the start of the month after the move.
