About this statute

This provision sets up the Society, Council, and registrar, and gives rules for registration, continuing professional development, indemnity cover, records, appeals, and some offences and fines. Society members, associates, and students must pay an annual prescribed retention fee, unless it is their first year of membership/status or they are honorary members. The registrar must notify an applicant in writing if a voluntary removal application is refused, and the Council must make procedural and evidence rules for the relevant committees.
