Statute overview

About this statute

This Part sets rules for airport certificates, land powers, airport byelaws, traffic and noise controls, airport charges, and related offences and penalties. The Department has wide powers over the reorganisation and transfer of airport assets, but some actions need consent or approval. The Holding Company and NIAL must make schemes, enter a lease before the transfer date, and provide information and assistance when required. This provision sets temporary rules for airport references, a turnover test for when the paragraph applies, and several transfer-related duties and deeming rules for NIAL, the transferee, and the Department.
