The Minister may sign the Agreement for Ghana, deposit the acceptance instruments with the Bank, or authorize another named person to do so. The Minister may issue certain non-interest-bearing, non-negotiable notes or similar obligations to the Association, and sums received by Ghana from the Association must be paid into the Development Fund. The Association is a body corporate with perpetual succession and may sue, contract, and deal in property; the President may make executive provisions about its status, immunities, and privileges. This section defines key terms used in the Act.
