About this statute

This Ordinance sets up the Allied Health Professions Council and boards, creates registration and practising-certificate rules for allied health professions, and makes several registration and display failures offences. A company practising a profession must send the board a yearly statement, and registered persons must follow supervision or referral rules before practising in Hong Kong. An existing practising certificate stays in force for its unexpired period, and the board must issue a new practising certificate after approval and payment of the existing prescribed fee in the specified cases.
