Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 80 96 of the Patents Act, 1964 (No. 12 of 1964), and of the Trade, Commerce and Tourism (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order. 1983 ( S.I. No. 384 of 1983 ), with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Rules. 1. (1) These Rules may be cited as the Patents (Amendment) Rules, 1985. (2) These Rules shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1985. (3) The Patents Rules, 1965 to 1983, and these Rules may be cited together as the Patents Rules, 1965 to 1985. 2.
