No. 408 of 2020 )), in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 105 106 147 150 (3)(c)(ii) and 262 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (No. 30 of 2000), hereby make the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Planning and Development Regulations (Amendment) Regulations 2025. (2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 19 day of June 2025. Amendment of Planning and Development Regulations 2001 2. The Planning and Development Regulations 2001 ( S.I. No. 600 of 2001 ) are amended— (a) by the revocation of articles 56 to 65, (b) in article 180— (i) in sub-article (1), by the substitution of “section 150” for “sections 147 and 150”, and (ii) by the insertion of the following sub-articles after sub-article (3): “(4) Subject to sub-article (5), the persons specified in subsection (2) of section 501 of the Act of 2024 are prescribed as persons to whom section 150 of the Act shall apply. (5) Sub-article (4) shall cease to have effect on, and from, the date of the adoption of the first code of conduct under subsection (1) of section 501 of the Act of 2024. (6) In this article— ‘Act of 2024’ means the Planning and Development Act 2024 (No. 34 of 2024); ‘code of conduct’ shall be construed in accordance with subsection (1) of section 501 of the Act of 2024.”, (c) by the deletion of sub-article (1) of article 181, and (d) by the deletion of Form No. 1 in Schedule 11.
