WHEREAS the Government considers it necessary to by order increase - (a) the amount referred to in section 10 (3) of the Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022 , and (b) the amount referred to in each of paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of section 10 (4) of the Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022 AND WHEREAS it is more than 12 months after the coming into operation of section 11 of the Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022 AND WHEREAS no order has heretofore been made under subsection (1)(a) or subsection (1)(b) of the said section 11; AND WHEREAS the Government has - (a) in relation to Article 3(a) of the following order, had regard to the matters referred to in subsection (6) of the said section 11, (b) in relation to Article 3(b) of the following order, had regard to the matters referred to in subsections (6)(b) and (7)(a) of the said section 11, (c) in relation to Article 3(c) of the following order, had regard to the matters referred to in subsections (6)(b) and (7)(b) of the said section 11, (d) in relation to Article 3(d) of the following order, had regard to the matters referred to in subsections (6)(b) and (7)(c) of the said section 11 section 11 AND WHEREAS pursuant to subsection (9) of the said section 11 , a draft of the following order has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House of the Oireachtas; NOW the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022 hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022 (Section 11) Order 2024. 2. In this Order “Act of 2022” means Remediation of Dwellings Damaged by the Use of Defective Concrete Blocks Act 2022. 3. The amount referred to - (a) in section 10(3) of the Act of 2022 shall stand increased to €462,000, (b) in section 10(4)(a) of the Act of 2022 shall stand increased to €16,500, (c) in section 10(4)(b) of the Act of 2022 shall stand increased to €5,500, and (d) in section 10(4)(c) of the Act of 2022 shall stand increased to €5,500. 4.
