I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 (3) of the Private Security Services (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 19 of 2021), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Private Security Services (Amendment) Act 2021 (Commencement) Order 2023. 2. The 31st day of March 2023 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Private Security Services (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 19 of 2021) shall come into operation: (a) section 2(1)(a) (except insofar as it is already in operation); (b) section 2(1)(b).
