I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5 10 of the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (No.24 of 2012) (as adapted by the Justice and Equality (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 452 of 2020 ), hereby order as follows: 1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (Prescribed Organisations and Prescribed Persons) Order 2025. (2) This Order shall come into operation on 30 May 2025. 2. In this Order, “Act of 2012” means the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences Against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 (No. 24 of 2012). 3. The Health Service Executive is prescribed for the purposes of section 4 of the Act of 2012. 4. Each of the classes of persons specified in the Schedule employed or otherwise engaged by the Health Service Executive is prescribed for the purposes of section 4 of the Act of 2012.
