I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Planning and Development and Foreshore (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 47 of 2022), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development and Foreshore (Amendment) Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2023. 2. The 10th day of January 2023 is appointed as the day on which Parts 1 and 2 (other than sections 3, 13 and 14) of the Planning and Development and Foreshore (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 47 of 2022) shall come into operation. EXPLANATORY NOTE This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage by section 1 (4) of the Planning and Development and Foreshore (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 47 of 2022), this Order appoints the day on which certain provisions of that Act in respect of An Bord Pleanála come into operation.
