GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XII of 1983 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2) ACT, 1983. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature. ] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 27th April, 1983.] [27th April, 1983.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Short title. Act, 1983. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 28,22,78,72,030 out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in Consolidated West Ben. column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Fund of West Act IV of Bengal for 1983. Account) Act, 1983] to the sum of rupees twenty-eight hundred and the year twenty-two crores seventy-eight lakhs and seventy-two thousand towards 1983-84. defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1984, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3.
