This Act authorises payment and appropriation of specified sums from the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal.
GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act I of 1962 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1962. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th March, 1962.1 [29th March, 19621 An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1962. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1962; It is hereby enacted in the Thirteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Short title. Act, 1962.(cid:9) Issue of 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal Rupees there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified 8,30,90,593 in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the out of the Consoli- sum of rupees eight crores, thirty lakhs, ninety thousand and five dated hundred and ninety-three towards defraying the several charges Fund of which will come in course of payment during the year ending on West the thirty-first day of March, 1962, in respect of the services and Bengal for the year purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 1961-62. 3.
