[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 23rd July, 2002.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2003. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2003; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:— Short title. (cid:9) 1. (Sections 2, 3.) Issue of Rs. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be paid 35102,61,18,000 out of the and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting Consolidated in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Fund of West Bengal for the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2002] to the sum of rupees thirty- year 2002-2003. five thousand one hundred two crores sixty-one lakhs eighteen thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2003, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2003.
