THE ASSAM TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 An Act further to amend the Assam Town and Country Planning Act, 1959- Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Town and Country Planning Act, 1959 (Act II of 1959), hereinafter called the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, as follows j. (i) This Act may be called the Assam Town Short title, commence- and Country Planning (Amendment) Act, 1987. ment. (2) It shall have the like extent as the princi pal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. Amendment 2.
