GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act II of 1987 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1987. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislate e.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th March, 1987.] [30th March, 1987.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March. 1987. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1987; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title. 1987. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there Issue of Rs. may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 2,56,90.59248 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees two out of the Consolidated hundred and fifty-six crores ninety lakhs fifty-nine thousand two Fund of hundred and forty-eight towards defraying the several charges which West Bengal for the year will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first 1986-87. day of March, 1987, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated fo r tion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1987. 35 The West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1987.
