GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act IX of 1976 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1976. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th March, 1976.] [30th March, 1976.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1977. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1977; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-seventh Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1976. Short title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. 9,15,41,74,000 be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees nine hundred Consoli- datWed Fund and fifteen crores forty-one lakhs and seventy-four thousand towards of est defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during Bengal for the year the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1977, in respect of the 197677. services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- tion.
