The Bombay Seals Act, 1949

--- Section 1. Section 1.Short title and commencement. --- ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Bombay Seals Act, 1949. ( 2 ) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint. --- Section 2. Section 2.Amendment of clause 6 of the Letters Patent of 28th December 1865. --- In clause 6 of the Letters Patent of the High Court of Judicature for the Presidency of Bombay, bearing date the twenty-eighth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, for the words "Our Royal Arms" the words "the Asoka Capital Motif" shall be substituted. --- Section 3. Section 3.Amendment of section 11 of Act XIV of 1869.
