GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative NOTIFICATION No. 1099-L.-15th September. 2011.—The following Act of the West Bengal Legislature, having been assented to by the Governor, is hereby published for general information:— West Bengal Act VIII of 2011 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2) ACT, 2011. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 15th September, 2011.1 An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2012. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2012; It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-second Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: short title.(cid:9) 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2011. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be paid 99423,48,89,000 and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting out of the Consolidated in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Fund of West Bengal for the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2011 and in column 3 of the West Ben. Act III year 2011-2012. Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Account) (No. 2) Act, 2011] of 2011. West Ben. Act V to the sum of rupees ninety-nine thousand four hundred twenty-three crore forty- of 2011. eight lakh and eighty-nine thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2012, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2012.
