GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative NOTIFICATION No. 1252-L.-30th July, 2003.—The following Act of the West Bengal Legislature, having been assented to by the Governor, is hereby published for general information:— West Bengal Act IX of 2003 TITE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2) ACT, 2003. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinaty, of the 30th July, 2003.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the - Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2004. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2004; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2003. Short title. THE KOLKATA GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, JULY 30, 2003 The West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2003. (Sections 2, 3.) Issue of Rs. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be paid 39203,44,59,000 and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting out of the Consolidated in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Fund of \Vest West Bengal Appropriation (Vote-on-Account) Act, 2003] to the sum of rupees thirty- Bengal for the nine thousand two hundred three crore forty-four lakh fifty-nine thousand towards year 2003-2004. defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2004, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2004.
