GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XII of 1994 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1994. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1994.] [31st March, 1994.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1994. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1994; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title. 1994. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of Rs. 422,15,08,972 may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column out of the 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four Consolidated Fund of hundred twenty two crores fifteen lakhs eight thousand nine hundred and West Bengal seventy two towards defraying the several charges which will come in for the year 1993-94. course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1994, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for lion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1994. 79 The West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1994.
