The West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1966
This Act authorises spending and appropriation from the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for specified services in the year ending 31 March 1967.
West Bengal Act VIII of 1966 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1966. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th March, 1966.] [29th March, 1966.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consoli- dated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967; It is hereby enacted in the Seventeenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows :- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropria- Short tion Act, 1966.(cid:9) title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Issue of Bengal, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding Rs.4,79.48, those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting the aggregate to the sum of rupees four hundred anidn I:)°°°±. seventy-nine(cid:9) crores, forty-eight lakhs and(cid:9) forty-five Consolidai thousand towards defraying the several charges which will ted Fund come in course of payment during the year ending on the o f West thirty-first day of March, 1967, in respect of the services B fo e r n t g h a e l and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.(cid:9) year 1966.67. 3.
