West Bengal Act VIII of 1956 THE WE ST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1956 [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was Brst published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th March, 1956.] [29th March, 1956.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1957. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appro- priation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1957; It is hereby enacted in the Seventh Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropria- Short title. tion Act, 1956. 2.
