THE PRISONB ACT. 1894 ( IX of 1894) An act to amend the law relating to Prisons Where as it is expedient to amend the law relating to prisonsinIndiaexcepttheterritorieswhichimmediatelybefore thelstNovember, 1956-, WattcomprisedinPart3Statesother than the Madhya Bharet and Simixegions ofthe State of Madhya Pradesh and to provide rules for the regulation of such prisons; it is hereby enacted as followa:—-— CHAPTER I—PRELIMINARY 1.
