GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act I of 1991 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1991. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 28th March, 1991.] [28th March, 1991J An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1991. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1991. It is hereby enacted in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title. 1991. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of Rs. 4,20,54, may be paid and appplied sums not exceeding those specified in column 37,466 out 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four of the Consolida- hundred and twenty crores fifty-four lakhs thirty-seven thousand four ted Fund hundred and sixty-six towards defraying the several charges which will of West Bengal come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day for the year 1990-91. of March, 1991, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated fo r tion. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1991.
