This Act amends the Court-fees Act, 1870 as it applies to Assam, changes one fee amount, and alters what the court may do when the fee estimate is too low.
70 Assam Court Fees Amendment) Act [Assam Act ASSAM ACT III OF 1932 THE ASSAM COURT-FEES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1932* [Published in the Gazelle of the 27lh April 1932] An Act to amend the Court-fees Act, 1870 Whereas it is necessary to amend the Court-fees Act VII of Act, 1870, in its application to Assam in the manner 1870. hereinafter appearing ; Short title, *s hereby enacted as follows ;— extent an I commence- I. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Court- ment. f (Amendment) Act, 1932. ccs (2) It extends to the whole of Assam. (3) It shall come into force on the 1st May, 1932. Amendment 2. In section 7 of tlie Court-fees Act, 1870 (herein- 'Y ^ 11 of of section J. alter referred to a : the . rinciy il Act) — in sub-clause (<r) of clati <• V for the word “ten” the word “twenty” shall be substituted. Amendment 3. Foi clause (»H of section 10 of the principal of section lO.Act, the following clause shall be substituted namely:— “ ii.
