Repeal of certain other President’s Acts THE ANDHRA PRADESH RE-ENACTING AND REPEALING ACT, 1974 Act No.36 of 1974 [3rd July, 1974] AN ACT TO RE-ENACT CERTAIN ACTS AND TO REPEAL CERTAIN OTHER ACTS, ENACTED BY THE PRESIDENT FOR THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH DURING THE PRIOD OF OPERATION OF THE PROCLAMATION OF PRESIDENT ISSUED ON THE 18TH JANUARY, 1973 UNDER ARTICLE 356 OF THE CONSTITUTION. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Twenty- fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title – (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Re-enacting and Repealing Act, 1974. 2. Re-enactment of certain President’s Acts – The following President’s Acts are hereby re-enacted, namely:- (1) The Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Amendment Act, 1973 (Act 1 of 1973). (2) The Public Wakfs (Extension of Limitation) Andhra Pradesh Amendment Act, 1973 (Act 4 of 1973). 3. Repeal of certain other President’s Acts – The following President’s Acts are hereby repealed, namely:- (1) The Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 1973 (Act 2 of 1973). (2) The Andhra Pradesh Entertainments Tax (Amendment) Act, 1973 (Act 3 of 1973).
