GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act VII of 1987 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2) ACT, 1987. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 7th July, 1987.] [7th July, 1987.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums front and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988; It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Short title. Act, 1987. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Rs. 442532, Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in 23,000 out West Ben. column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on of the Act 1 of Consoli- Account) Act, 1987] to the sum of rupees forty-four hundred and twenty- dated Fund 1987. five crores ninety-two lakhs and twenty-three thousand towards defraying of West Bengal for the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988. in respect of the services and(cid:9) 1987-88. purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria- tion Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988. 101 The West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act. 1987.
