This Act authorises payment and appropriation of specified sums from the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the stated services and purposes for the year ending 31 March 1989.
GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act I of 1989 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1989. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1989.] [31st March, 1989.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1989. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1989; It is hereby enacted in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1989. Short title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 Rs. 3,20,20, 90,699 out of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees three of the hundred and twenty crores twenty lakhs ninety thousand six hundred Consoli- dated Fund and ninety-nine towards defraying the several charges which will come of West in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of Bengal for the year March, 1989 in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 1988-89. 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appro- Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for priation. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1989.
