GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act II of 1993 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1993. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1991] 131st March, 1993.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993. It is hereby enacted in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title, 1993. Issue of Rs. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there 1678,90,305 may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in out of the Consoli- column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of dated Fund rupees one thousand six hundred seventy-eight crores ninety-four lakhs of West aengal for thirty-seven thousand three hundred and five towards defraying the the year 1992-93, several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Alameda, Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated fo r thin. the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1993. 7 The West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1993.
