GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act IV of 1964 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1964. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th March, 1964.] [30th March, 1964.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965. • WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropria- tion of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965; It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legiclature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Short Act, 1964. title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, Issue of there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified Rs.2,87,19, in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the 88,000 sum of rupees two hundred and eighty-seven crores, nineteen out of the Consoli- lakhs and eighty-eight thousand towards defraying the several dated Fund charges which will come in course of payment during the year of West ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965, in respect of the Bengal services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. for the year 1964-65. 3.
