Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- I. (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Karadhan (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, Short title and 2018. commencement. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. ln Chhattisgarh Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1982 ( No. 15 of 1982 ), (bereinafterreferred to as Amendment or the Principal Act), for ection 6 relating to forest Development Cess, the following shall Section 6. be substituted, namely :- "6. Saving.- The amendment of Section 6 and 7 shall not affect the validity, invalidity effect or consequences of anything already done or suffered or any right, title, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred or any remedy or proceeding in respect thereof or any release or discharge of or from any debt, penalty, obligation, liability, claim or demand or any indemnity already granted or the proof or any act or thing." 3. In the Principal Act, Section 7 shall be omitted. Omission or Section 7. 4. In the Principal Act, for Section l 0, the following shall be substituted, namely :- Amendment of Section 10. " 10. Power to Remove difficuttles.- ( I) Jf any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this· Act, the State Government may, by an order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to it to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty : Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act. (2) Every order made under this Section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before tne Legislative Assembly of State."
