The UTTAR PRADESH VRIHAT JOT-KAR (NIRSAN) ADHINIYAM, 1979

--- Section 1. Section 1.Short title --- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Vrihat Jot-Kar (Nirsan) Adhiniyam, 1979. --- Section 2. Section 2.Repeal of U.P. Act 12 of 1963 --- 2. On and from the first day of July, 1979, the Uttar Pradesh Vrihat Jot Kar Adhiniyam, 1965 shall stand repealed. --- Section 3. Section 3.Savings --- 3. The repeal of the Act referred to in section 2 shall not effect— (a) the previous operation of the said Act or anything duly done or suffered thereunder, br (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, secured or incurred under the said Act, orbr (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the said Act, or (d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy, in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid. and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Act had not been repealed. --- Section 4. Section 4.Repeal of (U.P. Ordinance No. 18 of 1979 --- 4. The Uttar Pradesh Vrihat Jot-Kar (Nirsan) Adhyadesh, 1979 is hereby repealed.
