GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XV of 1978 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1978. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 30th March, 1978.] [30th March, 1978.] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1979. WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1979 ; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title. 1978. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there Issue of Rs. 13,67,85, may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in 23,000 out of column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of the Consolida- rupees thirteen hundred and sixty-seven crores eighty-five lakhs and ted Fund of West Bengal twenty-three thousand towards defraying the several charges which for the year will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 1978-79. thirty-first day of March, 1979, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of Appropriation. the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall he appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1979. 61 The West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1978.
