Repeal of Himachal Pradesh Ordinance No. 3 of 1972. _____________ THE HIMACHAL PRADESH TOLLS (REPEALING) ACT, 1972 (Act No. 3 of 1973)1 [Received the assent of the Governor on the 23rd February, 1973, and was published in R.H.P Extra., dated the 13th March, 1973 at p. 437-438]. An Act to repeal the Himachal Pradesh Tolls Act, 1969 (Act No. 13 of 1970) BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement.-(l) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Tolls (Repealing) Act, 1972. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Repeal of Himachal Pradesh Act No. 13 of 1970.- The Himachal Pradesh Tolls Act, 1969 is hereby repealed. 3. Savings.-The repeal of the Act under section 2 shall not affect, (a) the previous operation of the said Act or anything done or suffered thereunder; (b) any right, privilege, obliga1ion or liability acquired, accrued or incurred thereunder ; (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the said Act ; or 1. Extra.,dated 7th June, 1972, p. 591-592. (d) any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation. liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as-aforesaid; and any such investigation, legal proceedings or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Act had not been repealed. 4. Repeal of Himachal Pradesh Ordinance No. 3 of 1972.-The Himachal Pradesh Tolls (Repealing) Ordinance, 1972 is hereby repealed.
