Statute overview

About this statute

A person who learns that someone has gone missing and thinks there may be danger may report it to police or local police. Police must forward the report and start searches quickly; the reporter must notify police if the conditions for the report end. A person who learns of an offence prosecuted ex officio may report it. A data center is established at the Ministry of the Interior to collect, process, classify, store, and communicate specified information and data, under technical rules approved by the Minister. This provision allows extraordinary government commissioners to be appointed for specified temporary coordination needs or objectives, and sets out who issues the appointment, what the decree must decide, and who reports to Parliament.
