Jersey Law 1/1998 COMPUTER MISUSE (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) LAW 1998 ____________ A LAW to amend the Computer Misuse (Jersey) Law 1995, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 17th day of DECEMBER 1997 ____________ (Registered on the 16th day of January 1998) ____________ STATES OF JERSEY ____________ The 9th day of September 1997 ____________ T HE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – ARTICLE 1 After Article 2 of the Computer Misuse (Jersey) Law 1995 1 there shall be inserted the following Article – “ARTICLE 2A Saving for certain law enforcement powers Paragraph (1) of Article 2 has effect without prejudice to the operation of any enactment or rule of law relating to powers of examination, search or seizure.”.
