Census (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Law 2011 A LAW to amend further the Census (Jersey) Law 1951 Adopted by the States 17th September 2010 Sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council 15th December 2010 Registered by the Royal Court 21st January 2011 THE STATES , subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law – 1 Article 4 of the Census (Jersey) Law 1951 amended In Article 4 of the Census (Jersey) Law 1951 [1] – (a) in paragraph (1) for the words “liable to a fine not exceeding £500.” there shall be substituted the words “liable to a fine of one half of level 3 on the standard scale.”; (b) in paragraph (2) for the words “liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to a fine, or to both such imprisonment and such fine.” there shall be substituted the words “liable to imprisonment for a term of 2 years and to a fine.”. 2 Citation and commencement This Law may be cited as the Census (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Law 2011 and shall come into force 7 days after it is registered. m.n. de la haye Greffier of the States [1] chapter 15.040
